Description
As the 1960s began, Pace College offered degree programs in disciplines traditionally considered "female": secretarial studies, nursing and education. New Directions was an innovative program for women returning to college after following typical path of marriage and raising families. Offerred on both the New York and Pleasantville campuses, original students in the program tended to be older than the rest of the student body. See the Additional Files (for related pictures).
