Over the summer, I worked with one of my students on the attached guide to the four individuals who helped hide Anne Frank and seven others in Amsterdam for two years during World War II. This project was funded in part by the Provost's Undergraduate Research Program and the Office for Student Success.
This guide has been designed to be a concise repository of information on the Helpers to assist those who are reading and studying Anne's Diary of a Young Girl, and contains new, recently discovered information that was generously shared with me by in-house researchers during a visit I made to the Anne Frank House and Museum in 2016. In my English 110 courses here at Pace we often work with Anne's Diary, as do so many other students around the world.
