Abstract
Academic integrity involves teachers as well as students. Teachers should clearly understand their powerful and lasting ethical impact on students and serve as role models through responsible action. They should show a high regard for their discipline's subject matter, effective communication, students, the learning process, course organization and management, fairness and equity, learning institutions, and a desire to excel.
